Introduction to Yiling Wenxin Hospital

    一龄文心医院（原衡阳市干部疗养院）坐落于南岳风景名胜区的忠烈祠景区，东靠“中华万寿大鼎”，南临南岳万寿广场和南岳大庙后门。距南岳城镇中心1公里，衡阳市约45公里。该项目始建于民国36年，前身是“湖南省中正医院”，系抗战时期蒋介石亲自选址、湖南省主席薛岳亲自批示筹建并命名，是南岳历史上最早的一所国立医院，解放后，改名为衡阳干部疗养院，距今已有80余年的历史。该建筑于2013年5月16日，被南岳区文物局列为“不可移动文物”。

    Yiling Wenxin Hospital, formerly Hengyang Municipal Cadre Sanatorium, is located in the Martyrs Shrine Scenic Area of the Nanyue National Scenic Spot. It borders the Giant Chinese Longevity Cauldron to the east, and faces the Nanyue Longevity Square and the back gate of Nanyue Grand Temple to the south. It is 1 kilometer from the downtown area of Nanyue Town and around 45 kilometers from Hengyang City. First built in the 36th year of the Republic of China, the hospital originated as Hunan Zhongzheng Hospital. It was personally sited by Chiang Kai-shek during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, with its construction approved and named by Xue Yue, then Chairman of Hunan Provincial Government. It stands as the earliest national hospital in the history of Nanyue. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it was renamed Hengyang Cadre Sanatorium, boasting a history of more than 80 years to date. On May 16, 2013, its premises were designated as an immovable cultural relic by the Nanyue District Bureau of Culture.

    2024年3月27日，一龄集团与衡阳市南岳区政府在博鳌签署战略合作，打造南岳医养综合体。在衡阳市南岳区委、区政府的大力引荐和促成下，同年5月4日，一龄集团与南岳文旅公司签约，共同打造一龄南岳基地。按照“医在山下，养在山上”的发展思路，构建“一龄文心医院”和“南岳六时在庭康养度假酒店”组成的“一院两区”发展格局。9月23日，南岳一龄医养综合体盛大启动。2025年3月，一龄文心医院开业运营。

    On March 27, 2024, Yiling Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Nanyue District Government of Hengyang City at Boao to build a Nanyue medical-elderly care complex. With vigorous coordination and facilitation from the CPC Nanyue District Committee and Nanyue District People’s Government of Hengyang City, Yiling Group sealed a cooperation contract with Nanyue Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd. on May 4 the same year to jointly develop the Yiling Nanyue Base. Guided by the tenet "Medical Care Down the Hill, Wellness Up the Hill", the project adopts a dual-zone layout with Yiling Wenxin Hospital and Nanyue Liushi Zaiting Wellness Resort Hotel. The grand launch of the Nanyue Yiling Medical & Wellness Complex took place on September 23, and Yiling Wenxin Hospital officially opened for operation in March 2025.

    一龄文心医院基于衡阳干部疗养院改造升级建设而成，总占地面积47.8亩，占地面积3245.74平方米，总建筑面积6825.11平方米，共有6栋楼体建筑。依托南岳衡山“五岳独秀”的自然生态景观，“中华寿岳”浓厚的福寿文化沉淀和南禅祖源传法圣地的宗教文化底蕴，传承衡阳市干部疗养院80余年的历史文化积淀，融合一龄医养健康抗衰老模式，以养护用户的身、心、灵完美健康状态为目标，以南岳福寿文化和舒心态医养旅游为主题，打造成集预防干预、健康管理、养生保健、康养旅行、禅修体验等为一体的“国际一流心身医养度假目的地”

    Renovated and upgraded from the original Hengyang Cadre Sanatorium, Yiling Wenxin Hospital covers a total land area of 47.8 mu, with a building footprint of 3,245.74 square meters and a total construction area of 6,825.11 square meters, comprising six buildings. Nestled amid the unique natural landscapes of Hengshan Mountain, one of China’s Five Great Mountains hailed as "Peerless Beauty of the Five Peaks", it draws on the profound longevity culture of Nanyue, the sacred birthplace of Southern Chan Buddhism, over eight decades of historical heritage inherited from the former Hengyang Cadre Sanatorium, and integrates Yiling’s anti-aging medical and health system. Centered on caring the perfect physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of guests, themed around Nanyue’s longevity culture and relaxing wellness tourism, it strives to build a world-class medical and spiritual wellness resort integrating preventive intervention, health management, health preservation, wellness travel and Chan meditation experiences.

    一龄文心医院下设生命健康预检中心、根基医学养护中心、康复医学中心、运动医学中心、骨医学中心、国医堂、脑健康精准诊疗中心、生殖健康中心、心身医学养护中心九大中心，主要开展生命健康预检、心肺康复、脊骨神经养护、中医适宜技术综合调理、脑健康养护、女性生殖健康养护、心身医学养护等服务。

    Yiling Wenxin Hospital houses nine specialized centers, namely the Life Health Pre-Examination Center, Fundamental Medical Care Center, Rehabilitation Medical Center, Sports Medical Center, Orthopedic Medical Center, Traditional Chinese Medical Hall, Precision Brain Health Diagnosis & Treatment Center, Reproductive Health Center, and Psychosomatic Medical Care Center. It mainly provides services including life health pre-examination , cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, spinal and neurological care, comprehensive therapy with appropriate TCM techniques, brain health care, female reproductive health care, and psychosomatic care.

    The two characters "Wen xin" derive from The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons · On the Origin of Literature, which states: How great is the power of pattern and culture!     Going forward, Yiling Wenxin Hospital will uphold the overarching development guideline of the Nanyue Yiling Medical & Wellness Complex — "Anchor the Mind with Dao, Cultivate the Body with Medical Arts; Integrate Dao and Techniques to Unify Body and Spirit".
